I agree that a QEV would be a much better idea, even if you stick to low pressures - it would let you make a more compact bullpup style design like copperhead prime so you can keep your long barrel while having a more managable launcher.

this gun is finished, and I have no intentions of rebuild it.

When it comes to new gun designs it might be interesting to use a QEV.
I´ve already build QEV-cannons and I certainly agree about the efficiency benefits a QEV (factory made) has.

The Copperhead prime is a cool gun, but in my opinion you loose some esthetically values when choosing such design. That is absolutely a matter of taste, and is perhaps not that interesting to discuss. But of course i realize the compact/building benefits of a bullpup design. I've even tried it out myself in a "drawing board state" of another cannon.

speaking of the future, I made a add on: a pair of bipods! what do you all think?

I love the cannon, and the bolt action is nice craftsmanship!

but you simply have to use a QEV!!! the performance difference is noticeable and it would give the cannon a sleeker more metallic look because IMO, the massive green plastic valve isn't the prettiest feature of any cannon!

This thing is really mean looking. Love the cannon! Bipods make it look like a piece of military hardware.

Added a camouflage, dark green forest theme.
The leather makes me think of some WWII-setting.

I thought you mean like paint, I think it looks alright, but more of a ghillie approach would have been better IMO,

I Definitely agree with your WWII statement, You would be right at home hiding out in some busted down building sniping the enemy

The cammo idea is well executed.
I have a pvc shooter which is sprinkler valve operated and using 150 psi in it makes for a real kicker. Accuracy isn't great on account of the barrel being pvc but it is great fun.

Oh the cammo is just plain sick! I don't think i've seen a "cannon" ever look so rifle-like. I really like this thing. If you had a rifled barrel, you could make your own bullets out of like modeling clay or something.

yes. As it is today; i shoot the steel balls; with a very good fit.
I can stop bullets in the middle of the barrel (while held horizontal) just bye putting a finger over the top-hole.

however; a steel-barrel with the rifles would absolutely be a lot of fun! perhaps I choose that for future projects. well see about that.
