the highest pressure i get from this pump is 700 psi
the cylinder is 20.7mm in diameter

Nice work.

A question about 20.7 mm and 700 psi.

20.7 mm is about 0.8" and that works out to about 0.5 sq in.

To get 700 psi out of 0.5 sq in you need to apply 350 pounds of force.

How do you apply 350 pounds of force?

How many cu in are in your chamber and how many pumps does it take to fill it?

I am following in your footsteps and I want to get it right.

Well done.. Double checked the math. Got the same answer. about .5 sq in.. So how do you get 700 PSI?

when a 200lb man takes a step down from a 6" high step, how many pounds of force is exerted on the ground??? considering momentum, it is not hard for a average size person to exert 3times their body weight in downward force on a bike pump...

Duh... LOL

in most languages inanimate objects can be 'he'/'she' or 'it'...
in polish 'szafa' (wardrobe) is feminine, while 'zawór' (valve) is masculinum

Most average size persons won't step down on a 1/2 inch stick 2 feet tall with their full body weight on their hands. It's a little wobbly. A pump you can jump on is not the same as a hand pump where most of the body weight is still on the ground on the feet keeping balance. :D

Remember, I hand pumped most of my air cannons. A 700 PSI stroke on that pump is a stroke slammed down hard with inertia, not pushed down in a normal pump stroke. With the same math, I should be able to exceed 150 PSI with my pump. I peaked at 110.

I agree, the operator is very heavy. I'm over 200Lbs. 350 would be about right. :D

a 200lb man stepping from 6" = about 900lbs of impact, the upper torso of a person using his body as an inertial mass can easily apply way more force than the weight of the torso....

take a digital bathroom scale and set it under your pump and the hose, now if you use the "lean into it" method of compressing the pump you'll find that the scale will peak a reading of 400-500 lbs depending on weight and technique.....

So me saying that an average person can exert 3times their weight, I've already taken into account that it's not their full body weight, and they're not stepping on a "stick" from 6" high....

Big girls need love too...they have a lot going for them and a lot to offer...They can give you shade in the summer, and keep you warm in the winter...

Too bad we got YMBASI locked... :P

Course, The thought of a love starved plus sized girl on a fold out sofa with metal springs and frames popped in my mind too for some reason

Yeah, Personally, I prefer my petite one (easier on motorcycles and fold up sofas, you don't have to ask for your arm back while sleeping, etc.). 8)

will i am my self weight almost 98 kilogram .with my math i get that i will need a 160 kilogram to get that pressure. and i did not jump over the pump ,i used my hands and the upper body to pump
