Most of my guns I have sharpened the end of witch I'm loading the spud in. I have never tried any other methods of cutting the projectile down to size. I knew that having a tight fit would be the best performance when shoving it in. I never really understood how those different methods worked.. But then again I shoot different things then just spuds.

with vaseline negatively affect pvc, if i use it to lubricate my piston

It's possible, but highly unlikely. You would need some pretty intense pressure to generate enough heat to ignite that stuff.

Vaseline is good stuff...

yea, BTW sillicone lube does not work for moulding pistons.

it dissolves into the epoxy, weakening it and making kind of hard to remove.
