You know what is a right PITA? Trying to zero in a sight that is at a 45 degree orientation. I think I need to make a mount that is level to the earth just to simplify that task. I can get it centered, but then it's high or low. Adjusting elevation changes windage (being that the cross hairs so to speak are not level to the earth.
Not to mention spuds are not exactly consistent rounds in the first place.
I went through a 5 pound sack of Russets and still never got it zeroed. I need cheaper ammo. Taters are expensive!
Oh well.
How do you mount a sight on your cannon?
