Fiberglass
Resin
Wax a peice of pipe the size of your barrel and cover the end in tape, fill with mixed resin. You can then grind a point on it. I have also casted bullets in the pointed form. It works but the tape doesnt always react well to the heat of the resin curing.
Never heard of this stuff... but it looks great! Reasonably priced for the amount you get too.
Thanks

Work carefully with fiberglass resin, it can get messy...

even better idea take yellow electrical caps use sch80 1/2 pipe and epoxy 3/8in ball bearings to the tips punches through an inch of solid board at 90psi at like 30 ft idk about long range accuracy though haven't tested that yet, but after analyzing slow speed shots of the rounds they fly almost perfect, so i can imagine they'll be rather accurate, but you have to remember were dealing with home made non rifled bullets, theres no way you can expect rifle accuracy, anything inside 12in at a 100yd would be doing very well, but like gippeto sabots look, weighing the front end of the bullet heavily dramatically increases accuracy and flight speed because of the reduction in wobbling in air, and aerodynamics, placing the majority of the kinetic force into the tip of the round which will also increase penetration, and damage caused by the round. but like i said the electric caps are good enough for me, making these molds and such will probably be a little better, but most likely not much, and will be much more pricey, labor intensive, and depressing when they get lost or are unusable after a shot.
