Noname- it's for an unregged CO2 bbmg with steel BBs so my main worry was just wear and tear on the block itself.

When I first said aluminum it wasn't for a "cool" factor, it was for a practicality function. I didn't want it to wear out, and ideally I'd like to only need one vortex block ever.

JDP12,
This is a CAD drawing of what I think you're wanting to make. If it is...... recheck your drawing because some of your dimensions are incorrect.

dang thanks for the CAD model velocity! What dimensions do you think are incorrect? I may not have double checked everything. The one main difference I see between my drawing and yours is the position of the vortex hole.. my guess is i dimensioned that top to bottom location incorrectly

Exactly....also the center of the exit hole.

Actually....except for the .700 radius on the bottom, this piece could easily be made in a drill press with careful layout. Definitely not as good as a mill but certainly doable.

yea that's what I'm thinking...

i found some HDPE layin around in 1/2" thickness.. may give that a go on the drill press and belt sander... Should be easy enough to do.

As far as the .700 radius, that's just to match the radius of the ID of the pipe housing so it sits flush, if i don't get it totally perfect, not the end of the world.

If I were building this I would only do it if I had the chamber being used so the fit could be made to match the port/s. Other wise it's to much mailing for trail and error because it's custom fit...

Yea I think I'm gonna do it myself out of HDPE if I have the time before I go back to school
