
I've not found a regulator that could provide the high volume of air needed directly for a cannon shot. Lose the regulator and relegate it to the supply compressor. Simply run your local supply tank at the max pressure the cannon is designed to use.
If you are using the hose for an accumulator, be sure it's volume and ID are sufficient for the flow needed. Large diameter hose is expensive and hard to find. It may also cause problems with cannon mobility. It's no fun fighting the force of a large hose trying to make itself straight. Best to run a proper chamber on the cannon and use a smaller 1/2 inch or so supply line to the cannon.
