I dont have any videos of mine but this is the carbide i use,
This one is in a gatorade bottle and it doesnt seem very dangerous? My air volume is about the same but my opening is smaller creating a higher velocity at the muzzle.
His design is simmilar but i believe he is using like 1-1/2" PVC his is a little larger then mine. He also uses way more carbide then i do. I use a pinch of carbide he uses about 4-5X the amount i do. We wait longer and ours isnt near the same volume of air. 1" tee is the volume of the chamber in ours.
Yellow arrow is pointing to the little scoop we use to dish out the carbide. Its a cut down .22LR shell you can almost count each grain that the scoop holds.

As long as you keep the quantities tiny I doubt you'll be in any real danger.
