Human sacrifice
I would have kept my first tests away from the spinal chord though.

We are doing our best to not to harm anyone. There is still a work to be done on projectiles though. While they are hitting less then Nerf Mini Football Vortex at similar velocity, they are not hitting low enough for me. Although this weapon is intended for engaging targets at distances above 50 meters, I need to make sure no one is hurt when accidentally hit even at close distance.

I have tried the possible damage that could make a lead shot accidentally shot against a human, with a chicken, (clear: dead, bought in the market). It is not the same but it gave me a pretty clear idea of the damage that could happen to a person. Care, care and more care with the weapons of certain power. That is the lesson.

The problem was the destruction of the deceased flying animal when I try to search and remove the ammunition from inside hahaha! I am left to misery!

Meanwhile on the training fire mission...
I made advances in ammo construction and I'm now satisfied with the results. It hits much less then nerf mini football vortex fired at comparable range.

I just finished matching ammo boxes and began to work on mounting the gun on top of the pickup inspired by British WWII portee trucks. I wanna give the beastie a bit of mobility.

Wow! These put all my paintball "Artillery" to shame!
What field do you go to that allows these? I always have to argue with the ref to get stuff allowed at my home field.
Your ammunition shells look great, how did you produce them?

Thanks! I have the system already approved on one game in September. This game happens not on any field but in open terrain in the "countryside". Likewise I know about one or two fields in the broader vicinity, that are big enough for this weapon and they utilize combat vehicles as well. I do not expect any difficulties getting the gun approved there in the future, because it is way too cool for refusal
Ammunition shells are based on steel pipe of suitable diameter.

Oh, is the brass color from painting or brazing brass onto the steel?
I'd like to recommend making shells similar to enola Gaye paintball grenade
It's essentially a molded paper shell filled with liquid paint and the tiniest of firecrackers. I've built them before, using a toy capgun cap to trigger it, and they make quite a nice paint splatter. They are also very safe, but I still recommend using it only for anti vehicle ammo.
