Finished the brace between stock and barrel, had to 'mill' out a slight relief to clear the solenoid, which is tricky when you don't have a mill

It looks... fast!

On these sides the budgets for the hobby walk in front of the projects, even more when the hobbies are several. In my opinion, a manual lathe simply makes possible an infinity of ideas, which are impossible to do otherwise. Maybe one day you can first have time to learn this trade and to buy one.

I can somewhat use machine tools, I was studying machine shop and fabrication 30 years ago in collage

You can pick a small mill for less than $1000, but of course I understand that in some situations this would be hard to justify.

If you have space for an "old" tool rather than some piece of shitty chinesium, and are willing to wait (but also pounce when required) there's some amazing bargains to be had. My swiss precision lathe came to me for the sum total of 100 euros, that's about 120 in your silly toy money. Sure, it's ugly and it was built in the '50s, but when I say "precise", I mean "precise to under half a thou without even trying"... Phoned the bloke up at lunchtime, it was in my car at 3pm. I don't think he knew what he was selling.

Details of the loading/magazine attachment and detent magnet which holds one BB in the barrel opening to stop multiple feeds With the barrel cover on, a piece of 1" PVC & 5 round magazine 15 round magazine Brace back on Front sight post Still got to make rear sight and some side panels to cover the solenoid
