I'm busy building a strafer right now, wich uses the bottle. When I'm done tinkering with that I'll try some more damage shots.Maybe a video(?)

I don't have sinkers but I'll get some 5.5 mm lead balls for the strafer anyway....so how about some buckshot??

I'll see what I can do when I have the time...

LucyInTheSky, come on... If there wasnt a spring the force on both sides would be equal. If you are filling threw the chamber side of the piston usally, the air would simply push the valve open when filling, not going threw the equalization point because its low flow. Rather you have a spring so the vent side is slightly more powerfull keeping the piston against the sealing face. Think that made sense.

Some how it doesn't close ( wile filling from the back) without it.I would much rather do without the spring though.
Anyway, it also acts as a bumper.
I got the regulator at work ( bouncer in a club) from the resident techhead. It's a soda stream reg.The bottle is meant for carbonating(?) drinks aswell.

BTW.I quit my job as a bouncer (done 8 years) and got a job at a hardware distribution store...

Could you use a soda stream bottle for a co2 air source? I can get them really cheap but what kind of adapters would you need to have?
Forever dreaming...
