Well, since everyone was so keen on answering my question, i looked for the answer myself. "gm" stands for gram, a 16 mm marble weighs 5 gram, and an 25 mm marble 21 grams. In case someone else would wonder ....

some less than 600 fps muzzlespeed. HAven't tried the outher barrel balistics jet. Just found out about the existance of that. What pressure is the max you think ? I have a footpump and compressor. The pump goes up to 140 psi, the compressor 100, so 140 is the max I used sofar.

Gonne make a PVC one, fount a store that selse pressure pvc in holland, 92 km driving.

PVC is much much cheaper. I pay 250 euro for the BM1 and BM2 together. When I make 3 guns in PVC, chamber 4" and barrel 2", I only pay 118 euro. Coax are even cheaper. Ball valve or sprinkler valve as pilote valve not included

just try to make the valve first. If that goes wrong, you dind't wasted to much money. The money this gun costed, went mainly to the copper pipes. They are pretty expensive.

I finaly found some pressure rated PVC. For the price I payed the copper gun, I can make about 8 to 10 simular (coax) guns.

Any chance of you could give me a step by step guide on how to make it. IT LOOKS AWESOME!

Jedwards - I would advise reading the rules and sounding less hyper.

Normally, people don't have step by step guides, or the time to make them. Over time you will learn the eyeball guide - look at it, and then work out your own design from that.

Besides, just copying someone else's design is a bit dull - even if it is this nice.

I would advise not starting with a pneumatic this complex. I know you've built combustions (as you put in another topic), but barrel sealing piston valves need a little experience in the pneumatic field, or some luck.

Almost no one gets their first piston valve right, and even well past that they can take some adjustment before they work properly.

Thx for the compliment. I guess I am realy lucky then. My first gun ever was a pneumatic, this is the second. Both worked fine. BUT... I have to sai I did a few weeks of research on the net, and especialy here on this forum (that's why I'm still here ) before trying to build one.

My adive is start with the valve. Try to understand that part, the rest is peanuts. If you are able to build a valve, you are able to build a pneumatic gun.

Got to say though, that taht spring and bumper din't work. Well, it did work, but for a short time. The bumper (copper part on the right) was smashed completely by the power of the piston. It had way to much moving space. But the gun works.

My next gun will have a small movement piston.

i've just made my marble gun wat kinda pressure can i go 2 i've gone 2 150 but it just don't satisfy me any ideas

Wow, that is on of the best copper sniper rifle sortof looking gun, i have seen, i love the stock (twisted metal) an also the Bi-pod.

far out that is bloody beautiful i lov the the design and the ball valve is great great gun
