the down side to the instructables throwies is the rare earth magnet you need is like 15 bucks for like 25. and then the rest of the components add up to like $10. i would just use origin unknown's idea.

Specialist, you shouldnt need the rare earth magnets...I believe those are just for the actual throwie part, so that they stick to metal..but i may be wrong... Get what I'm saying? If I'm wrong just correct me

well if you read this carefully you will see where it says you need a rare earth magnet.

) is right, the rare earth magnets are just for making the throwies stick to things. All you need for the ammo is the batteries, the LED and the tape.
