I am going to build an spudgun with an 3/4 anti siphon sprinkler valve:

1.5 inch x 2 foot chamber

1.25 x 3 foot barrel

3/4 inch anti siphon...

I would say mods are definitely worth it although the exact % increase in power will depend on your ammo.

Also if you ever get another sprinkler...

i was looking a rifled pvc pipe for spudguns( on spudguntechnolgy center.com)

they say its 50 percent increase in distance? is it worth the money...

Rifling will improve your accuracy, but not the power/distance your cannon produces. Depending on your ammo rifling may well increase the distance...
