The answer isn't a color. The ones on the picture. What colors do they represent, and what would that look like if you filled in those areas with said colors?

I think that's the only purpose of the gray and white, to tip you off that certain areas should be colored in like a flag. But it also serves to confuse you because you think the gray means something.

I'm just biding my time till you guys get to 20, i think I'll let you buys figure it out, haha.

I'm trying to figure out how to give you a hint for 17 without practically giving you the answer.

EDIT: and if you don't think of the solution to 19 within about the first minute, you're probably hopeless without a good hint.

OK fine, here's the only hint I can think of for 17.
