damn password for mozilla firefox i changed it the other night because my brother kept using my pc and by password i mean you can save passwords on sites and you can have a master password. and does anyone now how to get it back? please help

I know what he means, basically Firefox can save passwords for you and stuff then you can use a "master password" in firefox to unlock all of the saved passwords so you can get on various forums and such without having to log into each one.

As far as recovering, your best bet will be searching around google for Firefox Master Password Recovery or something like that... or ask somewhere on their website.

yeah i did search google and unfortunetly nothing came up. and for all the people who dont use firefox dont reply to this unless you no what i am talking about, i am not angry right now im just sick of people thinking i dont no what im talking about.

i know what u r talking about also. And i used to use that master pass thing but i got tired of it so i just deleted my master pass an type it in the old fashione way. unfortionatly i cant help you sorry

i have been looking through google alot and i cannot find anything, i really am starting to hate mozilla firefox. i have downloaded 2 programs and neither of them have worked one of them asked me for the master password to find the master password? how the hell would that work?

so u need that password to use all the other passwords, will it not let you login to anything without the master passowrd? did u forget all your other passwords? im sorry i do not completely understand

i didnt forget all the other passwords i know all of them, i need the master password so i dont have to always type them in. im extremely lazy, and alos whenever i go onto spudfiles or any toher forum it comes up with a box saying enter the master password, very very annoying

Well, Delete and re-install Firefox is the only thing I can think of that might help, sorry to hear your in a predicament here...

yeah i tried that but it didnt work, irwinner i can login in to any forum but when i go onto a forum it comes up with a window asking for the masterpassword and it is very very annoying.

well i belive the reason a reinstall didnt help is because the accual password file isn't saved in the monzilla folder, in fact i have no idea where it is. im going to bet its saved some where deep in the windows folder, or a regestry key. either way im not borded enought to go looking for it...
