Hey, abcdefg, sorry I can't afford spending more than $150 on something I do only once every month or two. It's not your problem.
Comng back to this again, a flatline barrel is $120, almost as much as the gun itself. This barrel cost me less than $4. Flatline barrels alos decrease accuracy because they put a crappy backspin on it by making the paint inside paintballs flop around to one side.

I agree with ya judgement stealth is a big part of the game and i have not had any success with the flatline... I kno people who love them though. I have heard all good things about the apex barrel though.

Yes accuracy in paintball is important but so is volume its a mix because a paintball gun that can shoot 31 bps but none of them go straight is worthless but at the same time shooting anything less then 1 bps is suicide. paintball is not all about stealth or accuracy or volume or intimidation its about havign a team that has a good mix of them all.

Yea i back you... paintball is one of those sports that has different level of involvements. You can play everyonce and a while and it is fun adn doesnt cost a whole lot or that you can get really into and play alot and it will be pretty pricy.... it all depends on how much you play... i started out with realy cheap guns... my first gun cost me 19.95 baby
now im on to prob my 15th(between me and my dad) and i tend to spend a lot more on guns and accesories

I have found the stock barrel to be quite accurate, especially for being smoothbore and only 8.5 inches, if you practice a lot I see no reason why you’d need a flat line or any other high dollar barrel. China-mart has a carbon fiber barrel about 18 inches long for around $50U.S. that would be enough for close-end to mid range accuracy.
