Here's my entry, i call it "Pump, glue and tape" I used an old balloon pump and cut the nozzle off. I hotglued a 6mm barrel on and taped it with masking tape for extra strength. I used a BBQ igniter with wires taped on. I poked holes in the pump using a pair of scissors and fed the wires through. No screws, just wire

Build time: 6 minutes

I decided not to make another gun, but just stack another one on top of the old one
Shoots well, makes an insane bang, wich freaks out parents and pets

Power is also very good for a 5 min crap.

I was struggling to get it to ignite but i pumped some air in with a small football pump. I wasn't expecting it to ignite but it made my ears ring and the BB dented my recently painted wall.

two questions before i get in to this:
1, I have found a metal tube in the trash but pretty new, may I use it?
2, one of my friend gave me some hydraulic fittings for free, may I use it?
If all goes well I will post my tomorrow afternoon (london time)

Go ahead, it's your choice. I would keep them in reusable shape for future projects, though.

Well, it's ok to do, but the prevailing trend in these sorts of competitions is that more creative use of cheap and common materials score higher. One of the reasons my entry probably would lose out to, say, clemsonguy's entry.

I was thinking about the judging. If entries keep going this way, there be a few too may entries for a poll. What if we got all the members who entered to vote for something other than their own gun, the mods, and a few other contributing members.

I think votes by PM based on a "score card" would be the way to go, but I guess it depends on how many entries we have by next week.

That sounds like the best idea. Hopefully enough people will take the time to vote.
