the pilot valve is a 3 way valve it can block flow from the main tank at the same time as letting the air out of the pilot.

If you don't know, you probably don't know what type to buy.
Check eBay, McMaster.com and search Google and your local yellowpages for pneumatic supply stores.

no one can tell for sure as there is no info on whether it's a normally open or closed valve
you might find more info in this thread a wrote a while ago - that's probably more info than you need

who me ? I used a bosch valve... do'nt remember the exact number - it's posted somewhere here... anyway you'd pay around 70euro for it brand new... I bought it on an auction site like ebay... better learn how to read symbols on valves and get one that suits your needs yourself

Hey jake, i have recently been shopping around for the same 3 way valves.
I got lucky on ebay with 2 of the parker type valves, its 150psi rated and they cost
$30 each.... (in photo), you see the "button type" and the "lever type" parker 3 way
valves. However, i would not recomend the button type unless you like an extra heavy
trigger pull, which is dissapointing. The lever action type (on the rifle) is much easier, so
thats what i'd suggest to buy from my experience. I nearly bought the one on ebay you are
talking about for $10, but i found a slightly better one on ebay for $15 from a seller called
"fitprice". The product is called a "pneumatic 2 position 3 way spring return button air valve".
They also sell cheap QEV's etc.

Hi jonsey
the trigger weight is slightly heavy might take time to wear in so it wont be so heavy
