To me it seems like u loose too much propane in the way u fill it.
inaccurate syringe filling, and maybe u get some ventilation of the chamber everytime u open the cap.
just for fun, try to doubble the amound of propane. it will ignite on 8% too, anyways it cant be worse than what u have now

if this helps, and u get a bang when u doubble up, u probably loose too much propane.
if so, i would suggest getting a bigger syringe that can take everything in one filling, and a airtight tube from the propane to the syringe.

What about a 1/4 hole threaded and use a bolt as a plug. What do yiu mean remove the orifice

Yeah, I suppose you could do that too, as an interim solution. It would diminish usefulness in airsoft though, as it takes much longer to thread in a bolt than to close a ball valve. To that end, you should also install a fan immediately.

The orifice is the section of the torch head with the very small hole. Unscrew that section from the valve body - it's not doing you any good for filling syringes.

Yep, I'm dying to get one, But i have to check were i can get one for really cheap (I'm broke, only got a euro coin left from my trip to italy)

Another way to make an injection port is to just install a Schrader valve (fancy name for a car tire stem). If you have a needle for your syringe you permanently remove the stem from the tire valve. The syringe needle will fit through the stem-less valve (of course the "valve" is no longer a valve once the stem is removed). The plastic screw on cap for the stem is more than strong enough to contain the combustion pressures.
You can get a metal tire valve from a car tire shop for a buck or so.

Another example, left end, upper part of the chamber, that's a chrome truck tire stem with metal cap that I inject fuel through using a syringe:
Or you can go totally ghetto. Drill a hole in the chamber just a hair bigger than the needle. Inject the fuel and cover the little hole with a piece of tape. Surprisingly, the tap will be just fine. (Just avoid putting a body part too close to the tape covered hole just in case.

I suspect you have some problem in your math and that is messing up your fueling. The volume of a cylinder is pi*radius^2*length. Note that it is the radius, not the diameter, in the formula. Or just post the dimensions, internal diameter and length.

I actually have a schrader valve right here, was going to use in a pneumatic that never happened. I just have to find it on my desk.

First off , if you're using propane the correct percentage is 4.19%.
Chamber volume is 34.04 cubic inches, which gives us 557.8mL
If you started with metric it would have been 30.48cm x (4.83cm/2)2 x π, which is 557.8mL
I'm assuming your chamber is 1.9inch inner diameter, but we use the radius in the equation.
Correct propane volume to meter is therefore (4.19/100) x 557.8mL which gives us 23.4mL
