Ok I was thinking of an open flame ingnition. I know those electrical BBQ ligters work good but how about if you take a long nose bbq lighter and leave it like that just stick it in the side of your fireing chamber. Spray some propellant in the chamber and light it. Would that work or is it to dangerous?

very dangerous, the hole would enlarge and searing hot gasses would leak out and burn your hand

I did this trying to throw together a mini cannon with a plastic bottle , It burned a brown spot on my shirt , It didn't hurt me but it's not the way to go.
