BB gun finally getting built!

G'day guys, how are we all?

I've finally gotten off my backside and the gun is getting build now. I know...It's about time!

I've found a piece of 15mm copper tipe which I've polished up to make the chamber. It's a little knocked around and abit out of shape but it's good enough. What do you expect, I found it!

I got my shock pump in the mail yesturday. I was a total lemon. Luckerly the bloke I bought it from is giving me a full refund and I get to keep the pump. I'll probably fix it but I'd rather buy a new one with the money I got refunded back.

If anyone has any idea's to make this any better, give me a buzz.

How was it a lemon? I've had mine for years and the only thing I ever had to do was change the o-rings on the piston head.

The piston had been cracked and pretty poorly repaired. It's just a cheap pump. Most of it is plastic. Best thing is, The money that I got given back, is the exact price of an all metal fox shock pump so I'm happy.

How long is the 15mm copper? Would you perhaps mind posting up a diagram of the gun so we can "evaluate the situation"?

Well the copper is about....25cm or so long and its 20mm.

If you guys want, I can send ya's a photo of it as its being built.

Get a pic up of it mate,or i'll do it for ya .I can say it's starting to look good and it has a look about it that is menacing,are you sure its 25cm long?Looks more around 45-50cm to me.

Honesty, no idea....I'm just pulling out numbers from the rear end hahaha. I just hope it has the power to match the looks.

20 mm for a bb gun. are you sure last time i checked airsoft bb's where 6mm and .177 bb's where around 4.5 mm. or are you using it to sleeve the barrel ?

I'm talking about the chamber for it mate It's a coax.

Well guys, looks like the gun is nearly done. The barrel is epoxied into the end cap for the compression fitting and I'm getting the rest of the parts hopefully this weekend. I'm hoping this gun will turn a few heads .

Yeti, would ya rather see a pic of it half done or it when its fully done in a few days time?
