I am new to this forum.. I say hello to all.
I have been using the BBQ igniter however i have found this a poor sparker, and it always seems after a few shots the spark is gone, and i have to fiddle with it to get it to come back. So i was thinking about other methods of creating spark (low cost), and it just happened that my daughter was going to the zoo yesterday and she had a disposal camera. Something in my memory banks told me that you could make a stun gun with these, so a quick check on the internet and I was right! Now before i go to install this and i am wondering if anyone else has tried this and has any recommendations for configuration.
I have tested the stun gun on a pop can, and it blew it off the desk and i nearly sh!t my self. I was told this spark is 600 volts and will put you to your knees.
I think this will make a great igniter.
thoughts from anyone would be appreciative.
Disposable Camera Stun-gun for igniter
The information I provided came from the wiki (top right of site). Most questions can be answered there.
Just a follow-up i have completed the igniter with the 5 pin relay (actually used a 4 pin) with a coil and it worked Fantastic....... Rarely misfiires and is awesome... Worth the work.......

Again an update. I had installed a fan & camera/coil igniter to the chamber, and i had thought the additional power was due to the fan, however my fan battery has died and when testing it without the battery have noticed very little if any in the difference. It is my belief that the main change is due to the hotter bigger spark and not the fan.......
