How do i paint over primer??

So when i was building my cannon, i spilt some primer on the barrel and joints and etc. . . so now i wish to paint the cannon, , , , i tried brushing the paint over the primer but it doesnt stick...how am i going to paint over it??

I would sand it down and apply plastic paint.

What kinda paint are you using? I know some brush on types won't form a good bond with primer, with me generaly acrylics and tempur.

Maybe use sandpaper ALOT and then try?

ahhh killjoy, i was using a tempur paint on paint. . . that stuff doesnt stick...

but from what frank said, krylon should stick. =) i havent tried it yet. i need to buy it at my local Ace. .
