I was thinking of a valve for a gun that I am currently building that would allow for the gun to recharge faster. I have already posted a design for another three way valve but it had a lot of flaws. This valve would work just like a regular blow gun except it is larger and when you push it back the air flow in is stopped while still allowing it to fire. Please comment on it. The green is the guid rod, the blue are o-rings, and it would either be in a peice of 3/4 or 1/2 pvc.

Looks like a good design, if you can actually get it to work.

Should work fine. It's not required, but personally I would move the exhaust port to the left some so that the input is blocked off before the exhaust opens.

Oh, and you also need to add a second disk on the far right so that the input air doesn't leak when the current right piston passes over the input.

Reminds me of a valve rod out of a tractors hydrolic valve set up. Works about the same also.
