Hey everyone, I've bought parts for my first pneumatic im planning on building. I'm using a sprinkler valve with the electric solenoid thingy on it and ill attach a battery and switch to fire it. So far, I have a 4" diameter pipe 4 feet long on the outside it says dwv and cellular core pipe this should work for now. it will just be a basic cannon for now until I find out how exactly these work. the only glue i have for now is this pvc cement stuff, I just apply this around my fittings right? how much pressure can these take?> i wanna shoot potatoes into my neighbors yard!!!!!11111

dude, don't use DWV parts for a pneumatic, unless you want to make a pneumatic pipe bomb.

Do some research. DWV is not suitable for pneumatics, as it has potential to fragment and injure or kill you. Of course, this may not be a bad thing, since you talk about shooting into other peoples property, which is against the rules. This topic is locked. Do not make another one until you learn a thing or two about these devices, and can ask intelligent questions.

ummm ok don't use the pipe and use primer and its not nice to shoot things in to your neighbors yard  . but for real don't use that pipe its cell core that means thats its like cotton candy inside and its not meant to hold any PSI at all and it will most likely blow up and harm you very badly.
