Attatching Blowgun

I need to know how I could connect a blowgun to a 3" end cap. I will need it to connect with a hose/tube so the blowgun can be tied on to the handle of the gun for easy firing

drill a 1/4 inch hole and therad a 1/4 inch nipple(i think thats what its called) and attch blowgun to that.

Well, in the best of worlds, you'd have a 1/4" NTP tap... However, you'll have to settle for threading it directly in (and using epoxy) unless you have one. Like the procces in the artical on sprinkler valve modification.
