Has anyone has tried mechanical broadheads on a dart or arrow? Bows generally only shoot up to 350fps, so I'm curious how the blades opening would be affected at, say, twice the velocity. Fixed blade broadheads aren't quite as accurate because they catch the wind more and disturb the air flow over the fletching, and I imagine that would be compounded if you were using a short dart (~6") instead of an arrow.

I can't test right now or I would find out myself. Cheers.
