rough barrel and airsoft lubricant

my barrel for my bb sniper has a nasty looking inside what i want to smooth out, how would you recomment doing this, would a bit of snadpaper on a rod be the bast way?

on ebay, its a lubricant for the inside of airsoft barrels, has anyone see this stuff before and does it actually work?

have you tried stuffing some tissue soaked in oil in and ramming it through?

what kind of oil, and is this refering to lubrication or cleaning?

This is for cleaning - I still don't understand how the inside of your pipe is nasty looking, the above treatment to my aluminium or copper tube leaves the inside with a mirror smooth finish - what sort of pipe is it?

raw aluminium i think, it could be anodised i'm not sure, it just looks mucky on the inside.

"mucky" isn't the same as "scratched" or "bumpy" - try cleaning it as I suggested.
