Help finding a propane regulator!

I'm having alot of trouble finding a good regulator as shown on this beautiful cannon here:

That's exactly what I'm looking for but, but IDK what they are called.. would something like this work if I can't find something like that?

Harbor Freight has these regulators that are for 1/4 npt that cost like 5 or 6 bucks and if you can get them to seal right which usually involves a lot of teflon tape or a little bit of epoxy, and they work pretty good, just takes a little modding

Thats good, but its an AIR reg not a gas one. Will that make a difference?

the ones at harbor freight are over by the air compressor equipment and they are for air but they will go up to 120 psi and they will work for propane too, forgot to put that in.

edit as long as you are running a gas through them and you can get the fittings to seal correctly they will work. just make sure not to run your propane tank upside down cause if you do the liquid is cold and might crack the diaphragm

Just for the information, that regulator on the cannon you linked to is an air regulator.

I've never had a problem with my regulator in 2+ years of spudding. As long as you're not running hydrogen chloride through it, it should be OK.

LPG regulators would be better. A lot of air regulators are relieving, and they'll dump propane into the air.

What you should be using is something specifically for propane, like:

Don't know what they cost in the US, but in the UK, they're about £15, so maybe $15-20 USD I guess.

Make sure you look for an adjustable high pressure one, although low pressure ones are designed to give off a pressure for concentration of about 3.5%-4% in air (a little low to be ideal,but ignitable) so they could be used with a single BV to give a reasonable but slightly lean mix.

Thanks Ragnarok, I was looking at those but I want one with a guage built into it. Those would work best though..

I went to Harbor Freight today, first time in there, and they had EVERYTHING. I was even looking at some lathes they had. I bought the air reg biggrib suggested.
