first off i want to tell that the copper pneumatic is galfisks construction but the piston that was in it cracked so i made one new.

yeah. pneumatic: the chamber is 42mm copper pipe 1.6 feet long and the barrel are the same as on the hybrid. one for marbles (6 feet) and one for small spuds and big marbles 1" copper (3feet).

the pneumatic runs on 150psi now but would be 270psi soon. the piston are made from a screw with a sealing face bacicly. i cut a piece of steel plate to fit the diameter of the chamber and put in the back of the sealing face. there are no o-rings or something the sealing face fits perfect and it is enough (pilots really well)! it has a fairly easy bumper system too. i just cut a piece of rubber hose that fits the screw and push it on. (pics to come)

hybrid: the chamber is made out of 2" by 8" steel pipe. i used couplings to connect the bushings(?). the valve you can see is a 1/2" hydraulic valve 15000psi or so and the union is 1". it uses the same barrels as the pneumatic. the propane meter is on the way in the mail but takes a while

nice guns. that piston gun is beautiful for sum reason i like it allot. Its seem to have lots of power to . good job on the hybrid. what mix's do plan to use with it?

yeah galfisk has done a good job huh? and the pneumatic is massivly powerfull for 150psi! and the hybrid would be used in my hands at 4x but remotely on about 6 or 7x (scary)

BTW you can say som stuff i can shoot so i can get some good damage?

old computer screens are fun to shoot. shoot a coffee can with water in it thats cool cuz its hard to shoot through both sides.

Those are two very impressive cannons, would have preferred a pneumatic in the style of your hybrid, with a mortar sight and bi-pod, but they are beautiful, how do you vent the hybrid, I assume through the valve, at the rear of the cannon, as for more ammo alternate layers of melted solder and perspex or hard plastic, bolt down the center.

the plate was a thing to hold snowmobiles up on drag races so there was a licence plate on it on the other side so i shot on the licence plate so it dented a licence and a 3 or 4 mm thick steel plate spuds also dent it but thats more like bending it! BTW it was a 16mm marble i think i could have got penetration with a 1" marble and 270psi

all of you just think "ohh why didn't he build it himself" i tell you it was pretty long time ago now. when i worked with ballvalves and didn't understand the piston valve concept so i asked him to make one for me so i could try to understand and now i think like "ohh i shouldn`t get him to build it i could have got all credits my own" lol

yeah brian! but he is down with cannons sadly he has begun with other stuff jus hopes he takes his cannons (and for that matter complete the hybrid its going to be soo sweet if he asemble it) just hopes he returns to us!

Y'know traditionally we refer to the pipe size used as the barrel not the chamber

I was about to say that 42mm was a hell of a size for a copper barrel then noticed it seemed a bit skinnier than expected.

How is it being piloted? It looks like theres just a schrader valve the end and I'm not seeing the 'water valve' or I am seeing it and not realising how it's working.
