braided regulator hose

how many of you have seen latkes propane regulator and seen the braided hose and said i want that. it's pritty expencive so i found a solution. to to the hardware store and buy a long conector for connecting tolites and the valve for water. then cut off the end connections. slip on clamps and it fits perfectly over 3/8 inch hose barbs
