Miniature cannons are novelties made with materials such as bottles or pens.

Hello!

This is my first mini-spudgun (first spudgun), well.. An attempt to it.. It works tho, but I've seen better looking spudguns before  ..

Anyway, here's a movie of it. (sorry about the crappy quality, the battery of my good camera was empty, this is a webcam :( )

What do you guys think of it? What improvements does it need, what are the good points..

Cheers!

not a bad job. i would consider making a "real" spud gun though.
(not saying that that one isn't, its just that you haven't had the real rush until you shot a full sized potato from a gun that you made yourself. Not to sound corny, but its one of the best feelings in the world).

[commense ranting]Well I completely disagree with that in almost every way.
Me and sthorne have been have a big ol competition on the smallest combustion and I would say it was much more fun than making/using a "normal" one
see my sig,i have had the most fun with the "launcher" there than any other Ive ever made[end ranting]

Anyways nice mini
a longer barrel would benifit performance but is not really nessasary considering the scale of it.

yeah, i mean, it is really cool when you do shoot a full sized tator gun, but you can get as much thrill from a mini as you can with a full sized combustion. It all depends on who you are and what your personality is like.

EDIT: Oh, by the way....Welcome to Spudfiles!

its always a good idea to start with a mini that way you can learn how important fuel to air mixtures are without blowing up youre hand
