Do bicycle pumps work?

hey i'm trying to make a pneumatic paint ball thingy and i was just wondering if a bicycle pump for the air source to make the chamber all pressury would work ... does it? i think it might i'm just wondering what you experts think...
I bike pump works great, You can get a mini bike pump and mount it onboard so you have a self suffeciant pnuematic.

ok ... so a 12 x 1.5 x 1.5 cylinder chamber would work then

dont botha with it if you want it for playing pb you will get shot a thousand times befor you get a shot off hook up a co2 tank to it or if yo cant get that hook up a propane tank which i did and it works perfectly fine but it can be expensive

100psi is asking a lot from most hand/foot pumps they aren't really designed to deliver that much pressure. Some street bike tires can hold 100psi but that's pretty rare, most tires only hold 20-30psi even car tires.

ive got a footpump that says 250 its double cylinder not the normal 1 cylinder and it had a ppressure gauge that goes up to 120psi,what about a smaller 12v air compressor or a small car air compressor?
