a good epoxy

I want to glue (or epoxy) a washer to the end of the pvc to cut pilot volume. What would be the best glue (or epoxy) for this. My First piston I used a super glue and it came off and ruined the whole thing.

"Locktite" Epoxy. Sets it 5 minutes and double syringe makes for an accurate/equal mixture.

They are about $4.50 at Walmart + Tax

JB weld... 5$ at Home Depot. Takes about a day to set and cure, but its worth it. If you read the back of it, it says it is supposed to hold up to some insane amount of pressure like 3000 PSI or something like that

JB weld does work for pressure, I have used it on an oil pan once, didnt leak for years... but is harder to mix than loctite since it is in two different tubes, but you can add more catalyst and it will harden quicker... either are great choices.

pvcpsyco- the PSI rating on a tube of epoxy is not how much pressure it can contain. Since how much pressure something will hold relies heavily on it's size, shape, thickness, etc., they could not put such a rating on the package. The ratings you see are intrinsic properties of the mixed epoxy, such as tinsel and compression strength, like the rating on a bag of ready mix concrete.

Any name-brand epoxy will be good, you won't have any problem at all using up to 300psi, possibly more. However, be careful that your piston slamming against it doesn't cause it to crack.
