CO2 regulator questions

I was wondering where i would get one of these and for how much? I would be using it for my copper cannon that i am building. I would like to use a 16oz CO2 tank as my main tank. How much psi is in one of those when it is full of CO2? I would have the 16oz CO2 tank hooked up to the regulator and then the regulator to my cannon. How many times could i refill my cannon to 300 psi before the tank was empty?

Ive tried that already. And seeing as how i am inexperienced in the field of CO2 i do not know what exactly i would need. Which is the reason i posted here.

It says at room temperature, the tank is at around 853 PSI. However, it mentions that alot of the CO2 is in liquid form, therefore, it will probably maintain that pressure for a few shots as the liquid gassifies.

This is of course, assuming you're using a paintball CO2 tank. If you get the kind they'd use industrially, I'm sure it would be good to a few thousand PSI.

Yes im using a apintball tank. So would i be safe to assume that i could get around 8 shots before its empty?

the pressure of liquid co2 is about 900 psi, whether you are using a 16oz paintball tank or a 20lb industrial tank. as long as there is liquid, the pressure will be around 900psi

Look for the Jac Pack at lowes. Its an all in 1 Co2 Reg. runs $99.

I am guessing you would get 15-20 fills. but im not doing the math.

sorry its a noob question. Im building something similar only with pvc. how would you connect your regulator to the rest of the cannon? galvanized steel or just pvc. im using a sprinkler valve but i guess the question is how would one go about connecting metal with pvc or can i just connect the metal with the valve directly?
