Hello

I am planning a simple pill bottle cloud for .117 bbs, and i was wondering if any of you have any experience working with a co2 tire inflater as a power source, or if you can tell me if it would be not sufficient to fire the bbs powerfully.

I'v used this kind of inflator before. The inflator, if held down until it is depleated (approx. 6-8 secs), will get your bottle terribly cold and most probably will make it burst into hundreds of plastic shards.

Dont do that.

Instead, fill a metal secondary chamber (maleable iron or something stronger) with the unregulated c02 and connect that chamber to your pill bottle with a pressure washer handle or a ball valve. Make sure all your parts before the BV (and including the BV) are rated at 500+ psi.
This way you will get a more reasonable pressure into your cloud chamber AND get more shots with your c02 cardrigde.

Leonard I think there is no way to make a chamber with say 500 psi of C02 release over 8 seconds, I'd say even if the valve was only open a bit it would be out in 3 or 4 maximum. Why not alter the plastic body?

Its not worth it for a SIMPLE PILL BOTTLE CLOUD.
