This is a website really only for Uk folk.

http://www.thegunshop.co.uk/bullet_casting.htm

Has equipment such as lead melters and bullest casting at good prices.
Plus the cool little pair of pliers with a mold on the end. So all you have to do is pour in the lead, wait a minute or two then give them a squeeze and out pops your bullets.

Indeed, very cool stuff. 8)

Speaking from my "very limited" experience, get a how to book as well. It really isn't as simple as you (or I) think it should be.

Temperature of the mold as well as temperature of the lead (and probably alloy) all play a part in mold filling (is the mold hot enough?),shrink rates (lead too hot?), and a host of other things I am sure will be encountered.

Truly, it is an art as much as a science. But it IS rewarding! :D

What? Americans cant mold our own bullets? Got a news flash for you, we been molding them just fine since we got here. I bought a Buffalo bullet mold for my stepfather with nice oak handles.

Works great! He hasn't bought a bullet for his black powder rifle in 6 years, he molds better one's then he can buy.....
