I was wondering if it is safe to tape holes in 4" couplers? I want to put my quick connect for filling the tanks and my PSI gauge into the coupler on my 4" tanks.
Am i safer putting holes in the coupling or the pipe? i figured the coupling is stronger then the tank.

You always would tap a hole, no matter the size, over a fitting, That way, theres double the plastic.
