First, let me start off by saying how "gay" [Urban Transilation=Silly, Careless, etc] people were for spreading such bullshit... lol.

Thanks to Mastromarino, he has managed to prove that PVC does show up in X-rays. The article and pictures pretty much talk for there selfs.
Although this "wifes tale" might have been started to caution people and to encourage more time/money spent on safety measures, I think it proably will cause more harm then it was orginally trying to prevent. As I was already pretty sure to that PVC would show up in Xrays, I was still second guessing myself because everyone was running around saying it wouldnt.
The purpose of this post is so that we can laugh at those people that go around claiming that PVC doesnt show up in X-rays and refer back to this thread.
PVC does show up in X-rays.

I did think pvc would show up on x-ray. makes complet sence (in my mine at least) if bone showes up in a x-ray pvc should to (works in my mind).
If they can see the handle of a screwdriver they can see PVC. My question has always been. Why wouldn't it show up? Even though only the walls show up when viewed sideways, through most of the pipe, you can still see it in there.

Those people are disgusting (the criminals)! Saladtosser, cell core would just look like a sort of web of PVC I guess.

The resolution of a medical x-ray isn't high enough to see the individual air pockets; instead, it'd just be a lighter overall color.
