2.5" burst discs?

Harnessing precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Not for the beginner.

might try the bottom of a soda can. or the side of a 2 liter bottle. anout 25 layers of aluminum foil.

I laminate a sheet of aluminum foil and cut out circles. It works very well--just pressure test it to find out what kind of psi it can retain..

(This will vary depending on the thickness of both the foil and the lamination. 1 layer of foil + 1 side laminate is good to approximately 100 psi)

You'll want to use a 3" camlock setup for an ideal tennis ball barrel setup.

I alternate 2" blue scotch masking tape strips, 7 layers on a 3" male offers about 80 psi...you should be able to go up to about 10 layers before it becomes unworkable and should get you up to or a little over 100 psi.

in my hybrid, i used 64layers over a opening with a diameter of 1.6" (i think) at 7x mixes, it works great. go from there, i had a good amount of delay for those shots so it was pretty darn near peak.

Aluminum foil is obviously a decent choice if you want a reliable failure pressure, but thicker metal such as thin aluminum roofing trim will take a lot less work.

I'd try some really really thick poster board, which you can get from pretty much anywhere that has art supplies.

(Also, keep in mind you don't necessarily need 2.5" porting for a 2.5" barrel. 2" porting won't affect performance noticeably.)

Yep! Especially multiple layers.

Thick cardboard beer coasters are also a good material to try.

This is the more expensive idea but photo paper works well, mind you the cost tho. But when I used it for 2-3x mixes it held up well.
