...how exactly do you attach the barrel to the valve.

*throws up a bit in mouth*

Just joking man, for a parts gun it's alright I guess, but I've never really built a gun without actually planing and thinking it through, improvised guns always come out looking kind of shoddy, with blue zip ties and pink duct tape holding the barrel

I think if you added a longer barrel, bigger ball valve and a real pipe connection the the chamber, it would be a praise worthy gun,

And also, that's a galvanized chamber, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH 20 PSI??? step it up mate! come join the big boys...

Pretty good for a parts gun; nice stock.

I have to agree with sputnick, a longer barrel and bigger ball valve would improve performance, and you could be firing that thing at a much higher pressure: my pneumatic is all galvanized steel, and I've taken it past 200 psi (It could go much higher, but I'm stuck with a weak compressor for now).
By the way, how do you pressurize it (i.e. schrader valve, quick connect, etc.). Just wondering.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Good work, especially for your age. You always seem to be able to turn a gun out of what materials you have available at the time, a bit similar to me I guess...

Keep it up

Thanks Gippeto, but I think I'll pass on strapping it to wood with zip ties and duct tape...

Sorry, kid, but I just really don't appreciate improvised guns, I mean, you could have taken this SO FAR with a bit of money and more time, I mean that, most people don't even bother with stocks and whatnot, and that part I do appreciate, but then I always think, "If he put in the time to fashion a stock for it, Why not put a bit more into it and make it superb?"

If that works for him, fine, but I have a hard time seeing the beauty in an unplanned gun that was just thrown together.[/i]
