My Highlighter Gun

I saw jsr pen gun and decided I wanted to try my own. The only tubing I had was some .177 bb tube so i fit it inside a pink highlighter. For a piston i cut up a nerf dart, it seals really good. It goes through both sides a soda can. I run it at about 100 psi up to 150.

How does a highlighter body hold 150 psi? Ive never heard of pressure rated highlighter's...

Paint it all black, and it would look so much better.

I think the small chamber lets it take higher pressure.

.....I had that ideal and started one a couple days ago but didn't have all the parts . It is pretty cool thought, do you still have the cap to put over the schrader, you could mod the cap so when you press the cap it lets the pilot air out of the shrader.

Yeah i have the cap, but ill have to sand down the epoxy on the end if i want to put the cap on both sides, Im worried if i sand it too much it might get weak.

Cool..these little menaces are sprouting up everywhere. I'd mind that chamber though, especially seen as it's probably a hard plastic that will shatter rather than split on failure.
