Sprinkler Valve diaphragm blockage

I am going to mod a 1" sprinkler valve for my mini pneumatic. I am using this part to tap the sprinker valve for the blow gun: Part #9171K214 on mcmaster.com. When I thread this into the valve will it block the diaphragm from fully opening?

I thought i would never do it, bu i accually built a diapgragm cannon. this is based off of my cousin's cannon, but this is smaller.

I want to add a chamber fan to my gun, and seal the back plate on, but, doest the back plate have to be off when inserting a projectile, so the air...

This is my new diaphragm valve pistol, made from some misc PVC I had in my box of fittings. I wanted to do a pistol using this valve setup to go on...

I agree with Noname, I find diaphragm guns much easier to build than piston valve guns. Ive tried a few different approaches to the piston valve idea...
