This is my vortex cap BBmg, it operates using a 3/4 pvc cap and fills with a male quick connect. The magazine is still being tweaked but as of now it is a 3/4 inch length of pipe with a spring in it.The blowgun trigger is in the same place as the original.

Cool! not the most advanced or breathtaking thing but must be brilliant fun to shoot at cans and such with..

Good job on a very clean build, what kind of damage do you get?

By the way what was the shell from? An airsoft gun I guess..

Very nice, you don't see many portable BBMGs, I'm guessing this is airsoft calibre. What pressure is it running at?

Why not eliminate the hose altogether though and have the bottle directly in the grip? Or have the bottle as a stock with a short hose?

Some damage vidoes would be appreciated :)

The damage is supreme,in fact it was too powerful so I have reduced power to enable me to play others without injuring them.

it is nice to see my vortex cap design being implemented into more airsoft guns.

Since this is such a small gun, I don't think being left or right handed will make a difference but does it?

The trigger looks abit uncomfortable to press o.O

it's like pressing the pointy end of a stick...

Btw very clean build XD.
It's Nerf or Nothing.

Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

i have made one of these before looking at your topic, but it was just a container of small playdoh with bbs in it hooked up to an airbrush, pretty ghetto, it only went 5ft, i realized when i made my vortex block that you dont need a square just a circle

I think that this is something to be proud of and I bet it is badass to play with.

I am waiting for somebody with enough resources to make a vortex golfball machine gun.

It could be done, but you would need a mondo industrial sized air source for it to work consistantly...but I'm sure you knew that already...

As starman said, it can be done, but you'd need a massive compressor/air tank and very high flow valve.

What would be more realistic is someone with one of them massive ASCO valves hooking it up to a pop-off pilot, say a 6 foot barrel and an inline magazine along its length, feeding throught an elbow into a tee breech... dewey-1, whereforth art though? ;)

Eh. When I win the lottery (which should be any day now, I have tons of karma coming my way) I will build it. It will be so cool it will melt your faces.

Without wishing to be pedantic (right  :D) wouldn't it freeze then shatter our faces?
