Spring on Ball Valve

I have an idea that would make a ball valve open at a much faster rate. If you positioned a spring on the handle it could pop right open therefore increasing firing speed. The problem is I don'y know how this could be achieved, if anybody has done this before, or knows how to do this please reply, it would be greatly appreciated.
