While I was off this past week I got a wild hair and thought to myself, "Self, how hard would it be to make a 1" insert for DD1???" and I was like, Not hard.... I'll take pics tonite and post tommorow, but what I did was take a 15ft section of 1" sch40 and ducttaped around it until it was a snug fit into the GB barrel and did so at the bottom and every 3ft to where the 1" met the end of the GB barrel, then I removed the breech and piston from dd1 so that I could measure/mark/install a 1"slip to 2"mpt adapter and get it spaced so that the breech end wouldn't interfere with the piston sealing on the GB barrel... Then I installed a 2"slip tp 2"fpt adapter to the actual gb barrel, and when I want to use DD1 forsmaller projectiles I insert the 1" barrel and screw it onto the GB barrel, so now DD1 has a 10' GB barrel and a 15' 1" barrel ..... I'll get some chrony readings tonite between DD1 and a 15ft 1" barrel and 150psi and the decimator with a 1" 5ft barrel and 600psi...I'm guessing they'll be pretty close....

When I type "DD1" in search, I get a bunch of gibberish back....Got a link???

Any way, you sleeved a 1.5" barrel with a 1" barrel (both PVC) so???

Why not just use a reducer bushing???
Maybe I've missed something(?)

And whatI did was make it so that in less than 30 seconds you can go from shooting gbs to shooting 1" superballs and back, when I post the pics tomorow you'll get the point... The Barrel on DD1 is 10ft, the 1" barrel is 15ft, have you ever seen how flexxy a 15ft piece of 1"sch40 is??? With this setup I can add the 1" into the existing GB barrel without changing anything else...And have a straight 15ft 1" barrell....

OK. Thanks for the link.
( I didn't mean any offense, it was confusing).
Looks like a vid would be very interesting. 8)

I'm wondering what the highest velocity of a 1" "superball" has been(???)

BTW, 15 feet of 1" has only a volume of about 2.25 liters.
But that could be a good aspect.

Great minds think alike. I'll grab a photo of my BG insert for my 2 inch cannon. It mounts a little differently and uses a venturi for higher COF.

Edit.. Got photos taken. Golf Ball Barrel that slides inside a 2 inch barrel. Dual use.. Ramrod for the 2 inch or a golf ball barrel.

If I had thought of this sooner, I would've made the decimator with a 1.25" barrel and had the ability to reduce to 1" longer barrel....
