I am trying to find a way of protecting my self if my cannon explodes. Even though It is pressure rated and built very well I want to leave no errors possible. Remember what can go wrong will go wrong, murphys law.
So I was thinking of getting some old jeans even from friends or maybe buy some jean fabric. And whilst shoting or testing wrap it around the chabmer and joints? What you guys think?

If your chamber exploded, it would probally rip through the jeans. i've heard of a way you could stop an explosion by an "emergency release valve". basicly a hole with an extremely tight cork or something similar. If the chamber were going to explode, the cork would pop out instead.

I've heard that chicken wire works, just cover it with something more comfortable and watch the spark wiring with the chicken wire.

The most likely failure in a pneumatic cannon is simply the fittings shooting off. Standing off to one side instead of directly behind the cannon is a good idea.
