re usable airsoft grenade

I am looking for a desigh for a reusable airsoft grenade
i want it to be cheap yet effective re usable and cool
i want it to look like this


heres what im thinking you charge it with an air compressor then pull the pin squeeze the handle that triggers the burst disk thenlets air into a valve that HIGHLY reduges flow like a timer then it leeches and triggers the last burst disk and forces bbs away

but find away for the handle to move and not let air out
also the idea is when you pull the pin its starts timing unless you hold the handle down cause then the spring does not push it down

if i am correct it should work like a real grenade hold the handle pull the pin while you hold it it is still charged and when you release handle it times down

Sure. You misspelt "criticism"

Looks like it would work, however the handle must make a very tiny hole in the burst disk to give sufficient delay between throwing and reaching the target, also the bursting mechanism is a bit unclear.

How about a balloon full of BBs? It won't take a lot of pressure to burst it.

ooh yes i love the baloon idea well the handle will trigger the burst disk letting the air leak into a constricter(bleeder) valve that highly constricts flow then a tube with evenly spaced holes burst makes bbs fly(the tube with holes to be wrapped in seran wrap)

Asides from being hard, I can suggest two things. Perhaps use a ping pong ball, softened in (weak) solvents and scored with a razor. Secondly use a lathe.
