ammo hopper?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

A blow forward bolt would be one solution, otherwise you can use a simple tee magazine but you'll need some sort of detent to keep the BBs from rolling out.

I think we need more new guys like this. Hope he sticks around.

His post isn't perfect, but you can read it easily (straight away). He had a valid question, which is normally not the case.. And when given advice he doesn't ask for spoons to get it done.

Thanks Axel, hopefully you stick around

I do say you picked a fine launcher to duplicate. For some reason, this is one of my favorites.

Okay. As far as a hopper system goes, I would recommend JSR's advise. Go with a blow forward type bolt with a detent. Should be easy enough to make. If needed, I'll try to draw up a simple idea in a little while for ya.

What kind of ammo are you planning? For a hopper system to work at it's best, the ammo should be spherical, such as marbles, golf balls, paintballs, etc. Also, check out my Improving the Barrel link in my sig. It describes a couple different detent systems that are easily incorporated onto almost any type of launcher (as well as other ideas you may be interested in, such as hopup, sleeving, and polishing the barrel).

i was actually planning on just building the original launcher, and then experimenting with the same design, just different modifications. like the stock, the loading mech, and possibly trigger functions. but for ammo, i was planning on just finding some spent CO2 cartidges. lol!
